As A Presenter in INFO MEET : BEST FROM WASTE, 21 November 2012

“INFO MEET 2012”, a one day meeting of teachers from different schools of Kathmandu Valley kicked off on 21 November 2012 at Seabird International College, Bhaktapur. This event was organized by The Small Earth Nepal (SEN), in collaboration with Vinayak Sikshya Sadan, Solid Waste Management and Technical Support Centre, Ministry of Local Development and WWF Nepal as an orientation class

Post-COP Sharing Workshop 6 January 2012

Clean Energy Nepal (CEN) on behalf of Climate Change Network Nepal (CCNN) with support from the European Union, Oxfam GB Nepal and ISET-Nepal organized a “Post-COP sharing workshop” on 6 January 2012 at Hotel Everest, New Baneshwor, Kathmandu. The workshop highlighted on the outcomes and update from 17th Conference of the Parties (COP) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.  The COP 17 was held on November 28 –December 9, 2011 in Durban, South Africa. The conference agreed to setup the “Ad Hoc Working Group on the Durban Platform for Enhanced Action” (AWG-DPEA) along with other major decisions.

There was a group discussion on possible strategy for Nepal’s strong representation in future meetings, the status of the UNFCCC negotiation and development of the COP 17.
